Bowood- House and Gardens

A glorious country house, open from April to 2nd November 2025. The family home of the Lansdowne Family you will find wonderful treasures, family heirlooms and works of art inside. Outside over 100 acres of gardens are waiting to be explored all set within Capability Brown’s grade 1 park. Younger guests will love the adventure playground, life size pirate ship, aerial rope walks and activity den. The Treehouse café is on hand for refreshments.

Take a tour of the main house, cruise around the infamous safari park and don’t forget to check out the sea lions aboard the Longleat boat. Younger guests will revel in a playdate in the Adventure Castle and their spectacular Christmas light show is a must book.

Cotswold Water Park

Spanning over 42 square miles and 180 lakes- the Cotswold Water Park boasts an array of activities. From waterskiing, sailing or paddleboarding to wildlife watching there is something for every age. Take a dip in the swimming lagoon before relaxing on the soft sandy beach. Adventure lovers must partake in the giant inflatable Aquaventure before stopping for lunch at the Beach Shack Café.

Outside the abbey is a quintessential English village with shops, cafes and pretty walks.
